She left Naples, Italy June 20, 1930 on the S.S. Saturnia. She is on line 27 and her son Antonio Borrillo is on line 28. She is 27, married, a housewife, and can read and write Italian. Her son Antonio is 3. Their place of birth and last residence was in San Marco dei Cavoti.

Information from page two:

Following line 27 and 28: Closest relative left in home town San Marco is her father Deodoro Tremonte. Her final destination is Bronx, NY. She has a ticket to her final destination and is paying herself. She has $25 on her. She and her son have never been to the US before. She is going to join up with her husband Michele Borrillo at the address 732 E 152 St Bronx, NY. Her and her son's health is good. She is 5'5". She and her son have brown hair and brown eyes.

I need your help! Check out this webpage I found. It has document images of passenger lists that you can view for free! Just register and it's free to view them. I typed in the last name 'Tremonte" and found 42 names and almost all of them are from San Marco. I don't know who they are but I'd guess they are related some how. Check them out and if you know how some of them may be related to us please let me know.

Here are some things that I found (click on the links to go to the records). If you know how they are related let me know:

• Angelantonia Palumbo Albanese (b: 1873) record of her coming from San Marco dei Cavoti and going to her husband Angelantonio Albenese at 725 St, Allentown, PA. Angelantonia is the sister to Diodoro Palumbo the father of Adolorata (Dolores) Tremonte. Her children Barbara Albanese (b: 1899) and Pasquale Albanese (b: 1905) also traveled with her. This is definitely a family member, and I know how they are related to us.
  
• This is a record of a Diodoro Palumbo and a Antonio Tremonte both going to 725....St, Allentown PA, both from San Marco. They are going to Diodoro's brother Giuseppe Palumbo, who is also Antonio Tremonte's uncle. I have no idea how Diodoro, Antonio, or Giuseppe are related to the family, but they must be because they are going to the same address as Angelantonia Palumbo Albanese (mentioned above).
• Lots of names from San Marco on this record: Borrillo, Assini, Cocca. Some people are also going to Allentown, PA.
• This is another record that have a lot of names from S. Marco.

• When looking at a document of someone also look at the other people on the list for names that might be in the family.
• Look at the list of where the people are from on the whole form. There are usually other people who are from San Marco on the same form.
• Look at the address of where they are going and compare with other people next to them, sometimes they go to the same place as others.
• On this website when I refined the search and typed in the city San Marco dei Cavoti I got an error message. I finally discovered that putting just 'Marco' in and changing it to 'contains' would work.
• Click on the ship manifest 'view' to see the documents.
• The documents often have 2 pages. And on this website they are not in order, so click the preview and next button to find the second or first page. The first page should start out with the names.
